Challenge & Solution

An Australian doctor set up this app to help doctors and nurses quickly assess whether a donor has any risk factors that could prevent them from donating. The app includes a series of steps and questions that may be sensitive for the donor or their family. We aimed to create an app that doctors and nurses could easily use in urgent situations or when time is limited.

The leading doctor and developer approached us after the app was built, and we sat down with them to discuss technical constraints and gather feedback on what the doctors and nurses wanted in the new design. After discussing and refining these ideas, we created an app map (or sitemap) to minimize the app’s current back-and-forth nature and sketched low-fidelity wireframes. We then gathered additional feedback, fine-tuned the app map and wireframes, and translated this information into high-fidelity wireframes for the developer to build.
