Problem
This App has been set up by an Australian doctor to make it easier for doctors and nurses to ascertain whether a donor has any risk factors hindering them being able to donate. The app has a certain amount of steps/questions that can be quite sensitive to ask either the donor or their family. We needed to be able to create an app that the doctors or nurses could easily interact with under extenuating circumstances or in situations where time was not on their side.
Solution
Having been approached after this app had already been built, we first sat down with the leading doctor and developer to discuss technical constraints and gather any information about what the doctors and nurses would like to see in the new design of the app. Once these had been discussed and fleshed out, we created an app map (or sitemap) to minimise the current back and forth nature of the app and sketched up some low fidelity wireframes. After gathering this feedback and fine-tuning the app map and wireframes, we translated this information into high fidelity Wireframes that would then be built by the developer.
