To update and freshen up the design of the Boral 404, as the design was outdated and referencing no longer sold products.

Solution

This project started with design research, finding inspiration from other error pages that show a little fun and humour. Being a construction company, I put forward multiple designs that were based around vector based construction imagery. Wanting to show a lighter side, the client decided on an illustrative representation of an area not quite finished.
